Established in 1977, TSI Exterior Wall Systems, Inc. (TSI) has grown to become one of the largest local Building Envelope/Glass and Glazing companies in the Maryland, Washington D.C., and Northern Virginia.

Specializing in Class-A Office, healthcare/hospitals, higher education facilities, government buildings, athletic stadiums, multi-family residential, and renovations, TSI has completed nearly 500 projects. TSI is proud to leave its name on landmark projects such as City Center DC, FedEx Field, Washington Nationals Stadium, Marriott Marquis D.C., Consolidated Forensics Lab, Health and Human Services, Capitol One Headquarters, Tower Companies Towers I and II, amongst hundreds of others/

Design Assist

Design assist allows for full system development, essential exterior system coordination, and cost management for building envelope glass systems ranging from unitized curtain wall systems to blast and ballistic framing systems. TSI, with vendors and field quality control personnel, ensure that key design issues are addressed prior to and during construction. This eliminates surprises during the shop drawing process and makes for a cost effective, high quality finished product.

Union Affiliation

TSI is affiliated with the International Association of Ironworkers. After many years of development and training, TSI’s field operations is led by competent Union professionals having years of experience in a variety of building envelope systems. With safety and quality as top priorities, the field operations team has the final say in the completion of a building project. The responsibility of delivering a project safely and on time rests with our installation team.

Safety

Our goal is that everyone goes home from work safe and sound.  TSI has a team of dedicated safety professionals that include our Safety Manager, who is OSHA 500 certified, and numerous General Foremen that are OSHA 30.  Our Safety Manager and general foreman work with our clients to develop Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA’s) procedures and other safety policies & procedures to ensure that our goal is met every day.
